ABOUT JO MORGAN  |  ONLINE COACH AND THERAPIST

BSc (Hons) Behavioural Sciences, PGCE, DSFH, HPD, SFBT Cert. CHS Dip. Medical Hypnotherapy

I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals

I started my career working in the Further Education sector tutoring young people and adults. I have spent 16 years as a Career Coach helping thousands of clients with their vocational and career goals. At NEWiD coaching and therapy practice, I help a broader range of clients wanting to make positive changes and move forward in their life.

My clients tell me that I help them to find the keys to open doors in their mind where they discover what they already have and can already do. From there they have a new way of seeing which gives them to the power to achieve the outcomes they seek. How do I do this? I listen, I believe, I connect.

Jo About

While passion, belief, a listening ear and the ability to connect are all essential ingredients for me to do what I do, you can be assured that this is underpinned by professional training and continuous professional development.

Qualifications and Professional Memberships

I have trained as a Solution Focused Practitioner with four of the world’s experts in solution focused practice at BRIEF London and BRIEF International

I am a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist having achieved the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) and the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DFSH) from Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training. I also hold the Diploma in Medical Hypnotherapy from The Clinical Hypnotherapy School

I am qualified to practise Rewind Therapy (RT) in the treatment of PTSD and phobias, having trained with the International Association for Rewind Trauma Therapy (IARTT)

I am registered with the UK Association of Solution Focused Practice (UKASFP) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and abide by their strict codes of conduct. I am also registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) – the independent UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners

I am also a mum of two. I love nature and walking in and around the Brecon Beacons.  I am learning Welsh and I hope to be fluent someday.

I am always up for a challenge so when I discovered a love of running in my mid-forties, I knew I had to do a 10K and when I had done that I challenged myself to run a half-marathon. So far I have completed four 10Ks and four half-marathons and I am looking forward to my next challenge.

When I’m not running, I enjoy being a ‘High-Vis Hero’ at my local Park Run in Merthyr, supporting and cheering on others of a Saturday morning.
